Fishing on Magic with Captain Barry
Artist. Mariner. Storyteller. Captain Barry Spieler brings more than 50 yearsof time on the water, from helming tall ships to captaining mega yachts to sailing thousands of miles with his own family. Before Key West, he ran a gallery on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco selling the marine art he paints. Wherever he's traveled, the sea has always been the constant, and he brings that same eye for detail to every trip aboard the Magic.
Some places you have to run 30 miles just to start fishing. In Key West, you're on the fish in minutes. We fish calm, protected water close to the dock for snapper, grouper and local species, an easy ride, a capable crew, and a comfortable boat. Real fishing, real fun, the way locals do it.
